Hi! My name is Josie and I was involved in a Road Traffic Accident in May 2003 in which I broke my neck. This has left me with C6/C7 Complete Tetraplegia (paralysis from the top of the chest downwards). Being only 17 at the time it was one of the biggest life changes that someone can go through. I was in hospital for 7 months in total in which I saw many different levels of spinal cord injury all having devastating effects on people. I have always been a positive person and, although I was told I would never walk again, I was determined that I would one day prove the doctors wrong. Click here to read more about my story...

It took very little vodka to persuade her to take up the challenge of a 400km ride across the desert...
